Experience a taste of French Terroirs in Midtown East

From July 13 to 19, Midtown French restaurant Madison Bistro will participate in French Restaurant Week 2015.

You will have the opportunity to celebrate and enjoy classic French dishes for French Restaurant Week 2015 during a full week coinciding with the French Bastille Day Celebration.

120 restaurants in New York City will participate in helping you to enjoy and become familiar with the flavor of France without needing to travel.

French Master Chef Claude Godard – Maitre Cuisinier de France – will prepare a 3-course Menu priced at $35.78 per person which will include some of his favorite Burgundian classics.

Action Against Hunger was chosen as the official Charity partner for French Restaurant Week 2015. Action Against Hunger is a global humanitarian organization which originated in France and works to end world hunger. The organization helps malnourished children and provides communities with access to safe water and sustainable solutions to hunger.

Chef Claude Godard (Maître Cuisinier de France) has partnered with Houses of Champagne Jacquart and M. Chapoutier and would like to extend an invitation for you to a Wine Pairing Dinner at Madison Bistro located at Midtown East at 238 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10016 (between 37th & 38th Street near the Morgan Library).

Wine Pairing Dinner at Madison Bistro Details:

The Champagne Jacquart & M. Chapoutier wine dinner at Madison Bistro will take place on Tuesday 28th of April 2015 at 8:00 pm.

Champagne Jacquart is a young Champagne whose people are passionate about the land and the wines they make. The winemakers work in a more contemporary style which means flavors that are out of the ordinary.

M Chapoutier creates wines from appellations in various areas of the Rhône region. They are known for making some outstanding Hermitage wines, both red and white.

The menu will consist of 4 courses perfectly crafted for each wine by Chef Claude Godard at $68 per person with all taxes and tips included.

Goût de France – Good France will celebrate French gastronomy in various locations worldwide on March 19, 2015. Madison Bistro, a French restaurant in Midtown New York will partake in the Goût de France NYC Celebration.

What is the Goût de France?

Goût de France is a worldwide event and celebration of French cooking in which over 1000 chefs on all five continents will participate.

Dinners will be served simultaneously in participating restaurants which will honor the merits of French cuisine, its capacity for innovation, and its values: sharing, enjoying, and respecting the principles of high-quality, environmentally responsible cuisine.

Madison Bistro located in New York’s Midtown East neighborhood will participate in the Goût de France NYC. The restaurant will feature a specially crafted tasting menu designed by French Master Chef Claude Godard that will showcase a six-course menu of classic French Burgundian dishes at $55 per person.
