When you taste Chef Godard’s Cuisine you can feel the roots from Burgundy.
Escargot, Egg “Meurette”, Short Rib Bourguignon and also Frog’s leg for “Special” are only example of what you can find on the Menu of Madison Bistro.
Good cuisine does match with good wines and here starts the show. The wine list is not over crowded but the selection is perfect with a nice focus on, Guess what? Wines from Burgundy of course.
From the north to the south starting by Chablis in the Yonne Valley to The Beaujolais region, now almost part of Burgundy family, you can enjoy a wide white or red selection.
Chablis, Vaillons, Valmur, Macon, Pouilly and more for the Chardonnay, Savigny, Gevrey Chambertin, Echèzeaux, Santenay, Reuilly are flirting with all the Beaujolais Crus.
Burgundy counts five well none grapes, Chardonnay, Sauvignon-blanc, Aligotes for the whites and Pinot-Noir and Gamay for the Reds and they are all beautifully represented at Madison Bistro.
We all know that Burgundy wines are not the most affordable but Claude wants to keep them accessible by not margin like a normal restaurant would do.

Eat, Drink and Be French is the 8th edition of the French Restaurant Week in New York City.
From July 3rd to July 16, 2017 you will be able to enjoy three courses meal for $38.
Combination of traditional French dishes and French favorite ingredients.
Be French for two weeks by staying around the table during an Appetizer, Entree and Dessert Menu.
At Madison Bistro time has stopped for the time of 3 courses.

Thanksgiving is definitely the time to bring family and friends together around the table and enjoy each other.
Each year on the fourth Thursday in November, Americans gather for a day of feasting, football and family. While today’s Thanksgiving celebrations would likely be unrecognizable to attendees of the original 1621 harvest meal, it continues to be a day for Americans to come together around the table—albeit with some updates to pilgrim’s menu and French twist.
Chef Claude Godard Maitre Cuisinier de France will feature a three courses Prix Fixe Menu for $52. A choice of 5 Apps, 4 Entrees and 1 Grand Dessert Plate. A traditional Thanksgiving menu in a great atmosphere.
