The Maitres Cuisiniers de France The Cookbook was produced in partnership between the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France and renowned photographer Battman. This 382-page full-color cookbook showcases the pinnacle of modern French cuisine from the world’s most renowned French Chefs.
77 of the 80 Chefs belonging to the USA-Canada Chapter of the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France | MCF-USA have put together their first (savory only) cookbook snapped by Ph’ood photographer extraordinaire Battman, founder of The Chefs Connection.
The French Master chefs live and work in 21 States in the US, in Canada, Grand Cayman, and St. Lucia. You will have seen some of the Maitres Cuisiniers de France on television programs such as chopped. Some have won multiple awards at prestigious Culinary Recognition Events, and some may not be known to you yet.
With only 500 Chefs worldwide in the global organization, you will enjoy their vibrant and creative vibe.
The book and its contents is endorsed and blessed by Paul Bocuse and Jacques Pepin, both French culinary mentors to chefs worldwide.
Each recipe is beautifully photographed by the world-famous Battman, and presented in striking color with an 8.75” x 12” hardcover landscape format. The recipes were curated by MCF-USA/Canada President Jean-Louis Dumonet, and under the passionate direction of Karen Dumonet. The Maitres Cuisiniers de France The Cookbook is an exciting collection of savory dishes, 154 in all, all equally tempting to both palate and eye and laid out on Porcelaines Raynaud plates.

When you taste Chef Godard’s Cuisine you can feel the roots from Burgundy.
Escargot, Egg “Meurette”, Short Rib Bourguignon and also Frog’s leg for “Special” are only example of what you can find on the Menu of Madison Bistro.
Good cuisine does match with good wines and here starts the show. The wine list is not over crowded but the selection is perfect with a nice focus on, Guess what? Wines from Burgundy of course.
From the north to the south starting by Chablis in the Yonne Valley to The Beaujolais region, now almost part of Burgundy family, you can enjoy a wide white or red selection.
Chablis, Vaillons, Valmur, Macon, Pouilly and more for the Chardonnay, Savigny, Gevrey Chambertin, Echèzeaux, Santenay, Reuilly are flirting with all the Beaujolais Crus.
Burgundy counts five well none grapes, Chardonnay, Sauvignon-blanc, Aligotes for the whites and Pinot-Noir and Gamay for the Reds and they are all beautifully represented at Madison Bistro.

Cheese Day Celebration Wine Maker Dinner
This year’s New York City Cheese Day Celebration Wine Maker Dinner Madison Bistro will start February 21st, 2017 and finish on February 27th, 2017 with an epic winemaker event.
Madison Bistro owner and French Master Chef Claude Godard will prepare a three-course dinner plus an “amuse-bouche”, each dish featuring different French cheeses.
This Cheese Day Celebration will be made more special by the presence of winemaker Stephane Kandler, owner of Chateau Tourril, a small estate of 13 hectares in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, who will personally present four of his award-winning wines to compliment each course.

NYC Beaujolais Nouveau 2015 Celebration
Thanksgiving is the most popular Celebration of the year in America, always on the fourth Thursday of November.
In France, the Third Thursday of November is marked by the arrival of the “Vin Nouveau” (New Wine).
This year, French Master Chef Claude Godard has chosen to commemorate the NYC Beaujolais Nouveau 2015 Celebration with the latest release from Maison Joseph Drouhin.
The 2015 Beaujolais Nouveau from Joseph Drouhin will be available from November 19th until it sells out!
The arrival of the “Beaujolais Nouveau” is a reason to feast and to party. Because it is limited and does not last, and it should not be drunk like we drink a big bottle of wine from a great wine region.

New items on the Madison Bistro menu include Calamari, Endive Salad, Salmon Tartare, Cassoulet, and a gorgeous Pear Croustade that will complement the existing delicious French menu at Madison Bistro.
It is time to enjoy the season and look at serious stuff. Don’t be afraid, your favorite dishes are still here, delicious Roasted Free Range Chicken, Dover sole or Tarte Flambee will stay attached to the Classic of the Bistro…but you will have more of a choice.
