2016 at Madison Bistro
There can be a lot of pressure and stress around what to do on New Year’s Eve. Everyone wants to have a memorable night, but researching, planning, and budgeting can take all the fun out of the New Year Holiday.
We will be welcoming 2016 at Madison Bistro by offering a four-course prix fixe menu for a budget-friendly $59 per person.
The Menu to welcome 2016 at Madison Bistro will include plenty of choices when it comes to appetizers and entrees.
French Master Chef Claude Godard will be crafting his classic French dishes with beautiful twists. You will be able to enjoy dishes “A La Carte” also, the choice is yours.
Master Chef of France Claude Godard will prepare for you the dishes you would eat if you were in Paris including foie gras, oysters, venison, lobster, and many more.
A great selection of wines by the glass or by bottles is available at Madison Bistro. Chef Godard wants his restaurant to be affordable for all because he believes that everyone can have a good time. Bubbles will be served for those who decide to watch the ball drop to signal the end of 2015 into 2016 with us.
Madison Bistro Announces New Additional Dishes
Today, French Master-Chef Claude Godard and his team have announced about 15 new dishes for its New York restaurant’s classic French Bistro menu.
What’s new on the Madison Bistro Menu?
New items on the Madison Bistro menu include Calamari, Endive Salad, Salmon Tartare, Cassoulet, and a gorgeous Pear Croustade that will complement the existing delicious French menu at Madison Bistro.
It is time to enjoy the season and look at serious stuff. Don’t be afraid, your favorite dishes are still here, delicious Roasted Free Range Chicken, Dover sole or Tarte Flambee will stay attached to the Classic of the Bistro…but you will have more of a choice.
New York City Restaurant Week 2015 at Madison Bistro
Madison Bistro will introduce two new menus for Restaurant Week 2015. French Master Chef Claude Godard – Maitre Cuisinier de France – wants you to have more opportunities to enjoy coming to Madison Avenue’s favorite French Bistro.
New York City Restaurant Week 2015 at Madison Bistro means 3-course Lunch and Dinner menus at respectively $25 and $38 per person.

Champagne Jacquart and M. Chapoutier Wine Pairing Dinner at Madison Bistro
Chef Claude Godard (Maître Cuisinier de France) has partnered with Houses of Champagne Jacquart and M. Chapoutier and would like to extend an invitation for you to a Wine Pairing Dinner at Madison Bistro located at Midtown East at 238 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10016 (between 37th & 38th Street near the Morgan Library).
Wine Pairing Dinner at Madison Bistro Details:
The Champagne Jacquart & M. Chapoutier wine dinner at Madison Bistro will take place on Tuesday 28th of April 2015 at 8:00 pm.
Champagne Jacquart is a young Champagne whose people are passionate about the land and the wines they make. The winemakers work in a more contemporary style which means flavors that are out of the ordinary.
M Chapoutier creates wines from appellations in various areas of the Rhône region. They are known for making some outstanding Hermitage wines, both red and white.
The menu will consist of 4 courses perfectly crafted for each wine by Chef Claude Godard at $68 per person with all taxes and tips included.

Salmon Tartar with Oysters and Cucumber
Préparation : 15 min
Cuisson : 0 min
Ingrédients pour 4 personnes
350 gr Fillet of salmon
6 unit Oysters
10 cl Heavy cream
1 bunch Chive
1 Sprig Dill
The fish and the oysters need to be extremely fresh because they will be eaten raw.
Preparing the ingredients
Place the oysters in a dish towel in your hand. Open the oysters with an oyster knife.
Empty the water in the shells into a bowl and remove the oyster from its shell into the oyster water. Scrape the meat in the top half of the oyster and Place the oysters on a cutting board and chop with a chef’s knife.
Set aside in a bowl and refrigerate.
